Verified organizations can raise funds for a named patient with the campaign type Help for patient. To protect patients and donors, every patient campaign must meet these requirements before it is published.
1. A verified organization
Only registered organizations that passed HELP BANK's document checks can create patient campaigns. Individuals cannot raise funds directly.
2. Patient details
- Patient's full name, age and gender
- Diagnosis or medical condition
- The hospital where the patient is treated, and the doctor in charge
- The planned treatment and what the money will pay for
- The estimated treatment cost from the hospital
- For patients under 18: the parent or legal guardian and their relationship
3. Required documents
- Medical report or diagnosis issued by the hospital or doctor
- Cost estimate or invoice from the hospital
- Patient ID: passport, citizenship card, residence card or birth certificate
- Signed consent from the patient, or from the parent or guardian for a minor
Documents must be clear, recent (issued within the last 3 months) and in PDF, JPG, PNG or WEBP format. They are private: only the organization and HELP BANK reviewers can open them. They are never published.
4. Honest goal
The fundraising goal cannot be higher than the hospital's estimated cost. Money is released only through fund requests, preferably paid directly to the hospital or against its invoices.
5. Privacy
The organization chooses what donors see: the patient's name and condition (public), only the condition and hospital (limited), or nothing about the patient (private). Photos of the patient need written consent.
6. Review by HELP BANK
Our team checks every document and may contact the hospital to confirm the diagnosis and the cost. The campaign goes live only after all required documents are verified. Campaigns with false information are removed and reported.
