Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the questions we hear most.

Is my donation safe?

Yes. Card payments are handled by Stripe, a certified PCI DSS Level 1 payment processor. HELP BANK never stores your card number. Partners are verified and funds are released only after review.

How much of my donation reaches the cause?

Everything except the 2% platform fee. You can tick “cover the platform fee” so the campaign receives 100% of your chosen amount.

Do I need an account to donate?

Yes, a free donor account lets us send your receipt and lets you track your donations and the campaign payouts.

Can I donate anonymously?

Yes. Tick “Donate anonymously” and your name will not appear on the campaign page.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB and others). Depending on your country, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other methods enabled by HELP BANK in Stripe may also appear.

Can I raise money for a patient?

Yes, through a verified organization, with the campaign type "Help for patient". The patient's medical report, the hospital's cost estimate, an ID and signed consent are required. See the requirements for patient campaigns.

How are organizations verified?

They upload official registration certificates, tax certificates and bank details. Our team checks every document before approving the account.

When does the organization receive the money?

When it submits a fund request explaining what the money is for. After approval, we transfer it to their verified bank account and record the payout on the campaign page.

Can I get a refund?

In cases like duplicate charges, unauthorised use or fraud. See our refund policy for details.

I run an NGO or charity. How do I start?

Create an account as an organization, complete your profile and upload your documents. Once verified you can create campaigns.
